gimme ONE reason...

...just look at these beautiful children...

"I used to ask for a sign to believe in, but He never gave me a reason to ever doubt Him. Gimme one reason to doubt He's the Messiah, gimme one reason to doubt, He is alive, gimme one reason to doubt I am the the apple of His eye. Just one reason now, just one reason to doubt Jesus Christ." -Jason Upton
I have been listening to Jason Upton all week, and this song has really been speaking to me. Through all these trials its easy to forget we arnt fighting this battle alone. Sometimes i find myself crying or just angry then i have the "duhh" moment and realise, God's already provided... A few months ago, about the time soon after we found out about Miles diabetes, the Lord spoke to Bryce: "I've already provided..." Now, a few weeks after that I felt God took it a little farther with me: "He's not our Provider, he's our Provided...."
He already has, nothing that needs fixing has God complexed... He aint trying to come up with a plan, He's not researching, scheming, or plotting a solution to get us outta this mess. NO! He has already provided, He is our Provided... followin me?
So anyways, gimme one reason to doubt,
gimme ONE reason to doubt HE's the Messiah,
He's Alive,
gimme one reason to doubt He'll heal Miles,
gimme one reason to doubt He'll take care of our bills,
GIMME ONE, just ONE, REASON TO DOUBT,
He is Jesus Christ.

a taste of Anthem....

This here is a rough draft of the appeal letter to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, on their decisioin on calling Miles diabetes pre existing..... those syco people.... grrrrr, haha, no seriously they must be syco...

To whom it may conern,

My 3 yr old son, Miles James Taylor is being denied coverage due to a so called “pre existing” condition of Diabetes. Now our policy effective date was July 1st, and we were told we could go to the Dr at any point from then on. Now, my son had been on our policy up untill April ’09, and then we took him off due to not being able to afford it any longer. My husband is a youth ministor, and does not get insurance through the church. On the 1st of July we went to our childrens Dr. for a check up, since he had not been there since April. Now, keep in mind Miles is 3, I mentioned to the Dr. that he had been wetting the bed at night, and was thirsty, I had him checked out for a UTI, and they also took a blood glucos check. NOW, you tell me what 3yr old does not wet the bed and is thirsty…. BUT, you are telling me this is considered a pre existing condition, WHEN NO indication of Diabetes was ever detected before, no diagnoses no nothing. If my son was a “pre existing” condition, as you are classifing him, well, he would be dead. What insulin depend diabetic can go without their insulin… NONE. And, how can you even put children into a category where they will be faced with clauses such as pre existing?? My son has only been alive for 3 years….. he dosent even know how to read and write, but you are telling me he has a pre existing condition? He dosent even have all his teeth yet! I know you are an insurance company and you are going to do your best to NOT pay out... We have tried EVERY other avenue to get this financial nightmare taken care of, and frankly no one can believe the stance you are taking, they are appaled and disgusted. With this all said, please make the right moral decision to drop the pre existing title. Thank you.

Sincerly, a mother trying to take care of her child,

howwww much is that doggggy in the window???

"ruff ruff!"
"ummm, on the phone ma'..."
"Helllo? Operator?"
Here we are celebrating labor day Chuckie Cheeeese style, along with EVERY other family with little loud children in Virginia... no joke we were there with.. millions.
The man at the front asked us "Are you celebrating anything special today?"
And i said, "No, we are just insane..."
haha, he knew just what i ment as i replied over the deafening screeching of children in the background. We had fun with the quarters i had been saving, the fun goes a long way with just a quarter a game/ride. -WAYYY more of a way- than mall rides, those things cost like, .75 cents, yikes! Welllllll, after the long day at the Chuck, i am turning in, afterrr i devour my pint of cappuccino ice cream....... ohhhhhyeahhhh.
