Grandpa: from drab to FAB!!!

My Grandparents came from PA yesterday to see little Levi,

they didn't know they were coming to get a makeover as well, lol...

My brother wanted some highlights, soo we got the kit and after he was done,

Grandpa was suggested as the next victim, I mean client!

Soooo, my 80 yr old Grandfather got his very first bleach job.

He looks pretty good, eh???

This was his reaction when he first saw what I was doing to his hair...

its been a busy few wks!

Our community pool just opened up, yikes, pretty late i know, BUT we are planning to make the most of it! Miles isnt too fond of the the water, but we are determined to get Levi loving it from the very beginning... good luck i know. See the words "mommy and me" as whales... hmmmmm,

not the greatest image you want to be described as after giving birth..

Can you see Bryce?? Remember that small garden in our backyard?? Small no more.... the corn is out of control, lol.. like seriously, we went out to pick the corn today, and we picked 30!! Yikes, and thats no including the 12 we've picked b4 today.... Tonight i;m gonna be calling my Grandma to find out how to freeze corn. WOW, and tomatoes, i think we've picked at least 40, seriously, thats a lot.. I need some good ideas what to do with them, i've already pureed and froze a ton, soo now what?? Anyone with some good tomato recipes?? Send them here, lol...

YIKES, so we grew sweet peppers, and well we picked a bunch, cuz yet again there are tons, soo i slice them up and freeze then for future use. Well, anyways, i've been wondering why my finger tips are stinging so bad, well, DUH, the peppers! I must have gotten a hot one in there, yikes, spicy fingers...

We seriously needed Miles wheel barrel for the produce, it was heavy!

This morning we went to Crocket Park, its such a nice park with a little lake and all. Joy, Bryce's mum had a great time hanging out with the fam, and showed Miles the "ropes" on the playground! Our time there ended with a little spill and gravel in the mouth for poor Miles, but scrapes and boo-boo's aside we had a great time.

Sooooo, yesturday we went to the Zoo with some good friends of ours, they just had a baby too, Reed. We had an amazing time visiting the FREE DC Zoo, yesss free, and its amazing i highly recomend it, really, its awesome! Ok, so here are the million pictures i promised my mother, hehe...

Yess, Miles loves Curious George, soo at the zoo we had to "find" him, this Gorilla house was as good as we got, lol... OH and Miles does a pretty good impression as well.

one month old!!!

One month ago...
So, we've made it, one month old! Here are the stats: sleeps most of the day away, eats EVERY 2, yess every 2 hours, still wearing newborn sizes sometimes fitting into shrunkin 3month old sizes, falls asleep during bath time, wakes up after his feedings during the night, laughs in his sleep, and has the cutest gassy smiles ever, lol... Miles is still madly in love with his brother, and gives him many manyyy kisses daily.
